    About

I am a grade 11 student from Aurangabad, Bihar, passionate about civic engagement, gender equality, and grassroots change. Growing up in an army family taught me discipline and a deep sense of responsibility toward my community. I am the founder of CHAMAK, a platform connecting Bihar's traditional artisans — Madhubani painters, Manjusha artists, and Sikki grass weavers — directly with buyers, eliminating middlemen and ensuring fair earnings for craftswomen who are often the most economically vulnerable members of their communities. I believe that real change begins when young people stop waiting for systems to fix themselves and start building alternatives. Aawaaj's vision of youth-led democracy and civic participation resonates deeply with me — I want to contribute not just as a participant but as someone who brings Bihar's grassroots perspective into national conversations. Through debate, advocacy, and entrepreneurship, I am building the skills to be a credible voice for the communities I come from. I see Aawaaj as the right platform to amplify that work.
